  6. The self-extracting archive file named WINSIG.EXE is for users of Central
  7. Point Anti-Virus for Windows Version 2.x, or later.  It contains updated
  8. files that include the latest virus signatures available.
  9.  
  10. To update your version of Central Point Anti-Virus for Windows, follow these
  11. steps:
  12.  
  13. 1. Copy the self-extracting archive file WINSIG.EXE to a temporary directory
  14.    on your hard drive.
  15.  
  16. 2. Run WINSIG.EXE to extract CPAVSCAN.DLL, the update signature file,
  17.    WNVIRLST.CPS, an updated virus list file, SMARTSIG.CPS, a DOS signature
  18.    file used by VSAFE, and the README.TXT file.
  19.  
  20. 3. Copy the files CPAVSCAN.DLL, SMARTSIG.CPS and WNVIRLST.CPS to
  21.    the directory on your hard drive containing the Central Point
  22.    Anti-Virus for Windows files.

  24. 4. Run the Central Point Anti-Virus Windows program.
